Description
The 3in MAXSwerve Spiky Wheel - Hub and Tread Bundle includes everything needed to outfit your MAXSwerve-equipped robot with Spiky wheels for enhanced performance. The bundle contains four (4) balanced aluminum hubs, eight (8) Spiky split treads, and fifty (50) button head #10-32 3/8in screws, providing a complete setup plus a full set of backup treads.
The innovative split tread design allows for quick and easy tread replacement without fully removing the wheel or requiring additional disassembly. Teams can choose to replace treads between matches or swap in a fresh set of spiky wheels for uninterrupted performance when paired with a second bundle and [REV-21-2995] 3in MAXSwerve Module Wheel Hardware Packs.
The treads are made from injection-molded thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with a Shore A durometer of 95, offering improved coefficient of friction compared to traditional wheels. As a consumable product, the treads will wear down over time, so keeping spares on hand is highly recommended. While this bundle includes one set of backup treads, additional treads are available in packs of eight (8).
