Description
These MAXPlanetary Input Couplers are compatible with the REV ION System. The MAXPlanetary 1/2in Hex Input Coupler (REV-21-2110) attaches to the end of a hex shaft, securely held in place by a screw, enabling the MAXPlanetary to be powered by a hex shaft on its input side. Its significance lies in its compatibility with various products, notably the 2 Motor Gearbox - Through Bore and the MAX 180 Degree Gearbox, all designed to drive the MAXPlanetary. Typically paired with a hex shaft, this coupler adapts to products with a socket or through hex output, ensuring seamless compatibility in your setup.
The MAXPlanetary 14T Spline Input Coupler's (REV-21-2124) ISO standard 8mm 14T spline is compatible with the Falcon 500 shaft spline. The MAXPlanetary 15T Spline Input Coupler's (REV-21-2138) ISO standard 8mm 15T spline is compatible with the SplineXS (Kraken and Minion) shaft spline. Both of these input couplers integrate into the MAXPlanetary System without needing to modifying motor shafts.
The MAXPlanetary 8mm Keyed Input Coupler Kit (REV-21-2108) is the same coupler that traditionally comes with the MAXPlanetary Base Kit (REV-25-2109). This coupler features a nominal 8mm (0.315in) bore with 2mm keyway and comes packaged with two (2) 8.5mm long rounded keys to quickly adapt any 8mm keyed shaft to the MAXPlanetary System.
*Please note that using a 1:1 (no cartridge) requires modifying the length of the motor shaft for the NEO 1.1, Falcon 500, and Kraken X60. A single cartridge reduction setup will still require modifying the Kraken X60 shaft to prevent damage to your motor.
